Documentarian Michael Moore offers next movie as free download to entice young voters to the polls

LatinaLista — One of the more amazing stories developing in this election is the rise of young voters.
Traditionally, this demographic has been an untapped source of political clout but not anymore. Thanks to Barack Obama who first really zeroed in on going beyond MTV chat sessions and started including young people — reaching them through technology — in his campaign on all levels, everyone (almost) recognizes their importance.
But it didn't happen overnight.
Michael Moore, the infamous documentarian, was there in 2004 and among the first to rouse this age group off their couches and take an interest in presidential politics. As to be expected, he documented his efforts in what is his soon-to-be released film Slacker Uprising.
Michael Moore hasn't given up on his message to young voters to get involved with presidential politics. In fact, he's gone a step further — he's letting everyone in the United States and Canada download his next movie for free online for a limited time.

"This is being done entirely as a gift to my fans. The only return any of us are hoping for is the largest turnout of young voters ever at the polls in November," Michael said.
