New Latina’s Bible: Getting Un-stuck

Which of these are you, today:

Someone who is making things happen.
Someone who is watching things happen.
Or someone who is wondering WTF is happening?

The world is waiting for your big idea to be born. From thought to action there is an ocean to journey and all it takes is one small step. Dip in. Sign up for that writing class you’ve been dreaming of? Get your butt to the gym. Pick up that pen and paper and write.

Some people need the perfect set up to get started, others wait till the muse hits, I am always inspired but those who, despite the conditions–both physical and otherwise–fearlessly get to work. In 1988, artist Chuck Close had a life changing spinal artery collapse that left him paralyzed. Despite the health challenge Close has remains prolific.

Everyone has a their individual way of creating, from Close’s just do it routine, to Jack Cheng’s inspiring post Thirty Minutes a Day. I’m digging EB White‘s mantra: a writer who waits for ideal conditions to work will die without ever putting a word to paper.

Getting un-blocked is as easy taking that first stab. Find your routine and bless the world with your creation.
