{tab=Blogger}

It’s estimated that a new blog is created every second. Some sources even say every half-second. Either way, that’s a lot of competition to getting your blog seen and read. While most of us blog for our own personal satisfaction of getting our voices out there, it is nice when people actually know we’re there.

Since Latina Lista’s roots are in blogging and we recognize how in this changing journalism industry bloggers are their own brands, we decided to give bloggers a little help in the attention department by creating a special section for content from blogs that complement Latina Lista’s content.

blogBeats is a section where we help those individual bloggers (please, no corporate-sponsored bloggers) expand their audience. To be published on Latina Lista, content must be about a specific topic/industry/issue/experience. No political commentary blogs will be accepted.

For consideration to be published on Latina Lista, bloggers need only submit the name of their blog, the focus of the site and its URL to latinalista@airmail.net. Subject line of e-mail: blogBeats.

{tab=Non-profit Organization}

{tab=Filmmaker-Videographer}

We know only too well how limited are the outlets for Latina/o filmmakers/videographers to showcase their works. That’s why we at Latina Lista want to help.

We have set aside our video player to showcase both multimedia news by journalists and films/videos either by Latina/o filmmakers or featuring topics of interest to the Latino community.

Films are evaluated to determine genre and appeal to Latina Lista readers.

If you’re interested in reaching an additional audience, send only an embed code for the film and a 40-word synopsis of the film to latinalista@airmail.net. Subject line of e-mail: Video Submission.

{tab=Publicist-Marketer}

We are open to receiving press releases in both English and Spanish. Send your press release to Marisa.trevino@latinalista.com for review.
