Campaign: Street Soccer Los Angeles – Ending youth homelessness through sports

Street Soccer LA (#SSLA) is a diverse team of young people from Jovenes, Inc. in the Boyle Heights neighborhood in Los Angeles.

They are committed to working hard, playing hard, and representing the great city of Los Angeles.

Support of the campaign will help in the quest to bring a trophy home to LA while providing long-term sustainability to the Street Soccer LA program.

Each year, Jovenes Inc. sends a men’s team and a women’s team to represent Los Angeles in the Street Soccer USA Cup. This year’s cup will be held in San Francisco from August 15-17th.

Street Soccer is an international movement using the global sport of soccer to help homeless people take control over their lives and create a brighter future.

In Street Soccer LA, the teams practice every week and learn about teamwork, motivation, and responsibility while having a great time.

The goal of Street Soccer LA is not to find the next soccer star, but to turn every player into an all-star in life.

The campaign’s goal is $10,000 and ends on July 18.
