LatinaLista — Arlington, Texas is a southern suburb of Dallas and is home to the ninth-largest school district in Texas. Over 64,000 students are enrolled in the Arlington Independent School District (AISD) and the majority of the students are Latino.
So when Arlington School Board Trustee Tony Pompa talked about the President’s decision to defer deportation on undocumented youth during a recent school board meeting, no one thought anything about it.
