Video: Chilean-born street artist Dasic Fernández creates art that carries ‘colorful’ messages

LatinaLista — Dasic Fernández doesn’t care if people call him a graffiti artist, tagger or muralist. All he cares is that he gives an empty space on a wall a soul that connects with people.

Chile-born Fernández lives these days in the greater New York City area practicing his art on any vacant wall that a landlord is willing to hand over to the creative artist. In the process, Fernández is leaving his artistic signature around the city with colorful, thought-provoking and imaginative works.

Fernández’s streetside canvasses caught the attention of the Perez brothers, Dan and Ruben, of Dan Perez Films, who wanted to share with a wider audience the amazing talent of this Chilean artist in a segment of a documentary series titled Street Art Exposé.

The filmmaking brothers followed Fernández as he created one bigger-than-life masterpiece after another and sat down one-on-one with him as he explained his art, his motivation and his process of creating art that carries ‘colorful’ messages.
