Campaign: Qancha: Peruvian Corn Snack. Natural Incan Goodness

Ronald Flores, a Peruvian entrepreneur has lived in San Francisco, CA since 2001. In 2013, Flores founded Nazqiz in San Francisco .

When Flores noticed there weren’t any of the traditional Peruvian snacks in the United States, he decided to start his own company so he could share them.

Nazqiz was created with the vision of bringing simple, healthy, unique and amazing traditional tasting Peruvian snacks to the U.S. markets and beyond.

The company’s mission is to bring back the ancestral ingredients that the people used for fuel and nourishment centuries ago.

Flores’ first product is Qancha – an air-toasted, vegan-friendly premium snack made from Chulpe corn, an heirloom varietal grown in the Peruvian Andes.

Qancha is currently available in select stores throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The goal is to expand into even more locations.

The campaign’s goal is $10,000 and ends on Dec. 25, 2014
