Latina Lista to appear on new XM Satellite Radio Channel P.O.T.U.S. ’08

LatinaLista — These days, it doesn’t matter if we’re talking about immigration or the candidates or the bills being discussed in Congress — it’s all politics.
In fact, the topic of politics has broadened so much in the last several years that it is finally being acknowledged that not all of it just happens in DC when Congress is in session or the President is in resident at the White House.

We have blogs to thank for that and now XM Satellite Radio which has created a new 24/7 channel called P.O.T.U.S. ’08.

P.O.T.U.S. ’08 carries a full slate of programs focusing on the issues that impact this upcoming presidential election.
That includes what’s happening on the immigration front.
Why am I telling you all this? Well, Latina Lista was invited to speak regarding what’s happening with immigration. It was taped on Friday for the “Morning Briefing” program, and I quickly realized there’s never enough time to talk about everything that needs to be said about this topic.
The conversation tended to focus solely on what’s happening in Irving, Texas and in the rush to explain what’s happening there, the reason for the outrage, I don’t think, came across very clearly.
But you be the judge.
The “Morning Briefing” show airs on XM Satellite radio on XM 130 between 6-9 a.m. (EST) and is free to listen to if you have an XM-equipped radio. It’s also available on XM radio online.
And just in case you were wondering what the heck the acronym stands for — it’s President of the United States 2008.
It’s a safe bet that this will be one busy radio channel.
