Over the last year I have noticed a wedding trend happening, couples asking their friends to help them pay for their honeymoon. If you think about it, it makes sense! Many of these couples have already been living together for a while so really they don’t need their house furnished or fancy plates. What they really need is a honeymoon of a lifetime that you as guest can help pay for. When I noticed that two of the many weddings I have been to asked for their guest for them to help pay for their honeymoon I thought it was shear genius!
I wasn’t the only one noticing this trend. The Chicago Tribune recently posted an article talking about this and mentioned how there is a “growing number of online honeymoon registries are making it easier for couples to ask for and receive the gift of travel.”
