Update: San Antonio Punk Rockers, Girl in a Coma, Hits the Big Times But Remembers Readers with Free Music Download

LatinaLista — In a testament of how fast life moves, it was only seven months ago that Latina Lista announced the debut CD of a new all-girl rock group from San Antonio, Texas called Girl in a Coma.

Over these past months, the group has been busy — going on their first tour throughout the Southwest promoting their album, winning a 2007 Independent Music Award in the punk category and being handpicked by the legendary rocker Morrissey to open his tour in the United States and in Europe.
Now, Girl in a Coma band members — Jenn, Phani and Nina — can officially say they are on their way.

If all this wasn’t enough, the girls were also chosen as a featured artist on MySpace Music.
It’s pretty clear that the stars are aligning in their favor as 2008 kicks off, but they’re not letting all the newfound fame go to their heads.
They’re still willing to share their music to all those who appreciate it — for free.
As a special treat for Latina Lista readers, Girls in a Coma want to share their song Say with a free download only available on Latina Lista.

As an added bonus, while downloading it check out the video of the same song. It’s easy to see why Girl in a Coma is waking up fans wherever they play.
