The Latin Dance Team of Dominion High School in Sterling, VA danced away with first place in the Group Competition of the 7th Annual Dominion Latin Dance Competition held on March 17. No Irish dancing on this St. Patty’s Day in the contest that featured nine Latin Dance teams from across the DC metro area. Decked out in brightly colored costumes, the dancers stomped, dipped and twirled to perform salsa, merengue, flamenco, tango and samba before a panel of judges comprised of professional dance instructors.
