TEDx conferences highlight an international reality — no one wants to stop learning. Countries all over the world now host their own TEDx conferences. In this presentation from the TEDx conference held in Mexico City (closed captioned in English – click “CC” on video player), international artist Laura Anderson Barbata shares what she learned from an indigenous tribe in Venezuela and how it impacted her work and her perspective on life. Born in Mexico City, she currently lives and works in New York and Mexico City. Since 1992 has worked primarily in the social realm, and has initiated projects in the Amazon of Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Norway, the USA, and Mexico.
