Chicago-based Luna Negra Dance Theater celebrates the richness and diversity of Latino culture through choreographing new works by contemporary Latino choreographers and leading hands-on education programs that encourage the exploration of personal and community identity. Luna Negra makes its home in Chicago at the Harris Theater in Millennium Park, and tours nationally and internationally. The dance troupe blends the discipline of ballet with the dynamic movements of contemporary dance.
