Video: Did GOOGLE get ‘egg’ on its face for featuring Cesar Chavez doodle on Easter

LatinaLista — In featuring Mexican American civil rights figure Cesar Chavez in a special GOOGLE doodle, the global search engine probably thought it would be a great hit, especially with Latinos. It would have been had it not been for one slight detail — Chavez's birthday just happened to be on Easter this year.

Outcry from both Latinos and non-Latinos was immediate who thought the doodle should have been dedicated to religious observation.

Newsy.com, a site that offers different perspectives on an issue, highlights the controversy the GOOGLE doodle generated and what cyberspace was saying about it all.
