FORT WALTON BEACH, FL — Gloria Rodriguez, a Zumba instructor from Fort Walton Beach and owner of Gloria’s DanZFit Studio came up with an idea to bring a new dancing venue to the community where the atmosphere is safe, family-friendly and where alcohol and cigarettes are not permitted.
For this reason, it is possible for minors, ages 10 and up, who like to dance and want to go out to the “club” with their parents and have a great time, to come to these dances. Gloria held her first social on January 28th from 9pm-2am and plans to have these socials every last Saturday of the month.
Gloria has two boys who love to dance but there was no place to take them to do just that, and that is basically where this idea came from. It brings more unity as a family to share an activity, such as dancing, in a safe atmosphere.
Gloria also shares her knowledge of dancing with everyone who goes to the social and wants to learn to dance and you don’t even need a partner to go.
The cover charge for the event is $10 for adults and $5 for minors 17 and under.
