In the historic Albuquerque, New Mexico neighborhood of Barelas sits the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Since their grand opening in 2000, they have staged over 25 art exhibitions and 500 programs in the visual, performing, and literary arts. In this interview, Visual Arts Director Dr. Tey Marianna Nunn talks about the museum portion of the Cultural Center and its role in elevating the artistic voices of Latino artists.
