LatinaLista — Author and journalist Erasmo Guerra has come a long way from his roots in South Texas’ Rio Grande Valley — both geographically and professionally. An award-winning writer, Guerra splits his time between covering issues in the Latino community happening today in New York City and remembering his past from which he draws some of his literary inspiration.
A member of the Macondo Writers’ Workshop, headed by Sandra Cisneros, Guerra reads a haunting excerpt of “My Sister Remembered” from his Kindle Ebook collection “Once More to the River: Family Snapshots of Growing Up, Getting Out and Going Back.”
