Campaign: Field trip for children of Casa Hogar in Oaxaca
Casa Hogar Hijos de la Luna is a non-profit organization that helps children in situations of high risk, providing them a safe haven, basic education, clothes, materials; psychological, medical and dental care, recreation and, most importantly, a place that gives each child individualized attention with the love and affection he/she needs.
Besides basic care, the home’s administrators like to offer the children a varied program of culture, education and recreation.
In September, they would like to take 30 of the children of Casa Hogar Hijos de la Luna on a field trip to Mexico City and Puebla.
They already have arranged the accommodations and the entrance fees to Africam Safari, a zoo near Puebla. To make this field trip possible they still need transportation and food.
Transportation
They would like to rent a bus to take the children from Oaxaca to Mexico City, from there to the highlands of Puebla and back to Oaxaca. The price to rent the bus is approximately $5000 MXN pesos a day.
Food
They calculate that approximately $8000 MXN pesos is needed to feed 30 children and 6 adults during the field trip.
If they reach their goal they will provide donors with a detailed report of the field trip with photos.
The trip is scheduled for September 5.
The campaign’s goal is $1,190 and ends on September 5.
