Campaign: Venezuelan Students Plan Pais Conference
Venezuela is enduring hard times politically and economically. An annual conference hopes to tap into the ideas and vision of millennial Venezuelans to create a better Venezuela in the future.
Plan País is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational services related to the progress of Venezuela. Furthermore, it aims to encourage political and civic participation among the Venezuelan youth and young professionals – wherever they may be – to promote an innovative, progressive and impartial debate with the purpose of creating a vision for the long run of Venezuela as well as facilitate the creation of a network of young professionals abroad.
The promotion of the civic and social conscience at Plan País conference allows for students, as well as the Venezuelan community, to benefit from the innovative brainstorming that happens during the two days of discussion overcoming the country’s challenges.
Uniting the diaspora of young Venezuelans under the common goal of educating themselves so that they may become informed citizens, allows Plan País to channel these thoughts as a community and become a more mature society ready for change.
Plan País Conference 2015 takes place in Austin, Texas on April 10-11.
Campaign donations will help advance conference organizers to reach their goal of having a high quality conference, including the most number of participants and experts attending from various parts of the world.
The campaign’s goal is $4,200 and ends in 5 days.
