LatinaLista — Mother’s Day is just around the corner and what daughter or son doesn’t want to give their mother a gift that would be memorable?
Given these hard economic times, money would certainly fall into that category but cold, hard cash can be so impersonal — unless, it’s accompanies by a 250-word tribute to why your mother is so amazing.
Western Union is offering their Mother of the Year contest. The grand prize is $50,000.
All it takes to enter is answering two questions:
Why is your mother the most amazing mom in the world?
What surprising and exciting things would you do to honor her with the $50,000 Grand Prize? What would you buy her or where would you take her and why?
The answer can be either in English or Spanish but must be 250 words or less. Judges will pick from entries anticipated to come from all over the world where Western Union has offices.
Contest deadline is May 1, 2009.
