Western Union creates Spanish campaign showcasing remittances sent by customers

LatinaLista — The only bad thing about the new ad campaign by Western Union featuring Univision host Ana Maria Canseco, that showcases true stories of consumers who use the company’s money wiring services to send remittances back home to their families, is that it’s all in Spanish.
The stories of why these immigrants send money home need to be heard in English.
If the stories were in English then it would be known how immigrants are helping their families back home with medical needs, getting an education and just surviving on a daily basis.
While the reason is obvious why Western Union is only doing this campaign in Spanish — because the majority of their customers who wire money home are Spanish-speaking immigrants — it would benefit everyone to know of the extreme need these people are filling for not only their families back home, but their birth countries as well.
These are great stories that deserve a wider platform that everyone can understand.
