Intrn’l Video: Showcasing the creative minds of Bolivia’s design world

LatinaLista — Time-lapse photography is a popular filmmaking technique that showcases the wonder of life. From nature to urban settings, time-lapse photography condenses the energy of life into just a few minutes. It also makes 100 hours go by ultra-fast.

In the featured video, time-lapse photography is used to give viewers a taste of the internationally popular Biennial of Poster Art Bolivia BICeBé® event. Held every other year, (hence, its name), the event brings graphic design to the forefront with exhibitions and design students and educators drawn from throughout Bolivia, Latin America and the rest of the world.

Geared as a meeting of minds — who look at life differently — the event capitalizes on the international gathering who attends to educate, promote and share projects while elevating Bolivia’s standing in the design world.

The featured video showcases 100 hours in the biannual event painting a narrative that weaves interviews of graphic design educators and students and artwork, as the city of La Paz, Bolivia acts as a canvass hosting this new evolution.

123 HOURS was filmed in 100 hours and edited in 23 hours between Monday, Nov. 19 and Friday, Nov. 23, for presentation on Saturday, Nov. 24, during the Closing Ceremony of BICeBé 2013.
