LatinaLista — The murder of Mexican photojournalist Rubén Espinosa has galvanized the international journalism community to demand justice from the Mexican government. In a country rampant with crimes that go unpunished, coverage of the murder has been widespread — beyond the borders of Mexico.
Democracy Now!, a national, daily, independent news program, has highlighted Espinosa’s murder in the victim’s own words and with people whom he talked to just before his untimely and unnecessary death.
