One of the more weird arguments from Trump supporters are those who insist on seeing this very flawed man as the “savior” or our country. According to these blind-faith supporters, Trump is the “chosen one” who will bring prosperity and unity back to the country. (If that’s the case, then I have a dictionary/sneakers/crypto/ bible/cologne/watch/guitar to sell you. Hint: all these products are/have been hawked by Trump.) Yet while Trump’s tariff threats are being ‘sold’ as a good thing for the country, in reality, it doesn’t bode well for the US economy. His threats are enraging our allies, like Canada who delivered a ‘heated’ response; A new survey reveals an old issue: more US adults lack literacy skills. Literacy goes beyond not being able to read. It impacts their personal well-being, social interactions, economic stability, and overall quality of life.
