Never before has a new presidential administration wreaked so much anxiety and dread as what is anticipated to happen when Trump takes office. Whether it’s their intention to fire several hundred, if not thousands, of government workers or the mass deportation of undocumented immigrants, and anyone else who gets caught in their deport-mania-net, or the eradication of the Dept. of Education or installing a national book ban on titles under the direction of a puritanic committee or the implementation of tariffs on common consumer goods which means we all will REALLY be paying higher prices or…, the list goes on. Yet, perhaps the most angst is felt among a certain demographic, who voted for him without knowing the full consequences of what their votes would wrought for their own (immediate) future. They will soon; The United Nations just released a report showing how much more dangerous it is to do good work; Being a pessimist does nothing good for our mental health but psychologists say it also harms something else vital to each of us; and Economists say if it wasn’t for this one group of students, yes, you read that right, our economy wouldn’t be doing as well as it is.
